Chosen Vessels Empowerment Foundation (CVEF) is a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) established to offer nourishment, encourage growth, equip for accountable leadership, provide support and fellowship to existing and emerging women and youth in the community, bringing them to the higher virtues and knowledge of secular and spiritual things. CVEF is led by individuals who share the kingdom purpose of impacting the lives of others intentionally, empowering them to fulfil their purpose in life and consequently their destinies

To provide support for the individual through education and awareness programmes, training, mentoring, fellowship and personal development.

CVEF ARMS

HYSSOP HEALTH INITIATIVE (HHI)

HHI seeks to create awareness, counsel and educate the public on health issues particularly as it relates to women and the girl child. To meet this objective, we have embarked on an educative campaign to create awareness among our youths about the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) as a sexually transmitted disease and its connections to cervical cancer later in women.

TITUS 2 MANDATE

The CVEF mentoring programme offers women from the age of 20 years onward the opportunity to be mentored by older women from different works of life, denominations and professions. These women share the kingdom purpose of impacting the lives of others intentionally by sharing the knowledge and skills they have already obtained, are working to obtain and have right at their fingertips, in addition to living a holy life.

Chosen Vessels Empowerment Foundation: Hyssop Health Initiative

  • Has visited secondary schools in Lagos state (public and private) and given awareness talks free of charge to young girls and their parents about the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) as a sexually transmitted disease, and its connections to cervical cancer later in women.
  • Has educated young girls under different platforms about reproductive health, and the need to practice abstinence and not engage in sexual activities prior to marriage; because of the risk to their future health.
  • Has raised funds for the full immunization of girls aged between 10 -15 years in public schools through the kind donations and sponsorships of philanthropists and organizations who generously give towards this project.
  • Has produced and continue to produce information brochures to educate parents, young girls and the general public about HPV and it's connection with cervical cancer later as women. ( Please see attached).
  • Organised and continue to organise affordable Pap smears and cervical tests for women who are already sexually active to ascertain their status, knowing that early detection and intervention can be the difference between life and death.
  • Organised and continue to organise annual well-woman seminars to educate women about general health and geneacological issues. (Please see attached e-fliers of past programmes).

Hadassah Women Ministries empowers women to lead with purpose. Founded in 2002, we offer training and mentorship to transform leadership across all spheres of influence.
